Juice Fast Journal, Day 1

JUICES  (Plus my personal taste rating)



  • Breakfast/Afternoon

MOOD/ENERGY/HUNGER

I felt pretty good most of the day.  I wasn't watching the time very well, though, and sipped the juices rather slowly.  As a result, I ended up having to cram in my dinner juice right before I went to bed, around midnuighr.  I didn't have the dessert juice until the next morning.

At about 7pm, I started to feel a bit queasy, and my belly felt full of juice.  Otherwise, I felt okay, and energized throughout the day.

I did have some hunger/cravings in the evening.  Especially when everyone at work started cooking u their chicken/steaks/etc.  But it was nothing too bad, and I was able to ignore it for the most part.  They say the third/fourth days are the worst.  I can't wait (to put those behind me).


OTHER THOUGHTS

I've discovered that this fast makes you pee.  A LOT.  I had to go pee every hour or two, but it was clear, well hydrated urine.  I had a water bottle that I was sipping from, but I think I'll omit the extra water from here out.

No bowel movements on Day 1.  This is something I'm curious about; what's it like to poop on a juice fast.  I haven't been able to find much that talks about it.  I guess that's because most people would rather not discuss it.  I'll be sure to include updates on it, though.  I'll keep it friendly, but I figure others might have the same curiosity as I do.  Here's hoping I don't get pudding poops and need to wear diapers for the next week and a half!
