MOOD/ENERGY/HUNGER
Had another good day, yesterday. I did want to stay in bed in the morning, but after I dragged myself out of it I was wide awake in no time. I blame that on the super-comfortable mattress. At lunch, I took a 20 minute nap at to recharge my batteries. My energy was pretty good throughout the day. I had much more physical energy than the Kevin a week ago would have had. No hunger to speak of, although I did see a post on Facebook with a pizza recipe that got my mouth watering. The physical cravings are almost gone, and the mental cravings should subside eventually.
I walked/jogged just over a mile on the treadmill today. I need to do something with all the extra energy, but I don't want to burn myself out so I'm going to start small and work my way up.
OTHER THOUGHTS
Went pee about 5 times throughout the day, and I experienced my first juice poop. It was not quite what I was expecting. Those of the faint of heart might want to quit reading now.... Stuck around? Okay, you asked for it. The poop was quite solid, but gooey and sticky. If you've ever raised a baby, think baby poop. Not smelly at all, and since a lot of the juice that I've been drinking contains beets, the stool was a dark (almost black) red that turned the water the color of rose petals and left purple streaks on the toilet wall when I flushed. It was quite interesting, to say the least. The beet juice did some crazy things to my pee as well. It had the color of honey with a reddish tint to it.
Beets are cool.
