Congratulations to me! Today was the 21st day in a row that I did my 10-33s (3 sets of 10 push-ups, 33 bicycle crunches). According to my amazing wife, repeating something 21 days makes it a habit. I'll tell you that it IS starting to feel natural to wake up a few minutes earlier and knock those puppies out before I get on with my day, but it doesn't quite feel automatic just yet. But, I do feel like I'll be able to keep it up from here on out. Hopefully in another month or two it will be at that automatic stage. Until then, I'll just keep plugging away.
Speaking of exercise habits, I came across an interesting web article on making exercise into a habit. you should read it and follow it's advice. Don't worry, it's a short article: http://zenhabits.net/how-to-make-exercise-a-daily-habit-with-a-may-challenge/.
The second exciting part of my day is...my Fitbit Aria wifi scale came in today from Amazon. I got a killer deal AND they (Amazon) had it in shipping so that it arrived on my doorstep on the same day as the retail release. How can you beat that?
Anyhow, the Aria is really neat. It automatically syncs my weight and body fat % to my Fitbit.com account. I've been using the Fitbit Ultra for nearly a week now to track my activity level throughout the week, and this is the new companion to that device. I recommend that you check them both out at www.fitbit.com.
